Apple Kids crate label

New in our gallery and store: This fruit crate label was used on Apple Kids, c. 1950s: "Apple Kids Washington Apples. Cowiche Growers Inc., Cowiche, Wash. Sales Office Yakima, Wash. Produce of U.S.A. Contents 1 U.S. Bu. by Volume." Crate labels were a frequent means of marketing fruit and vegetable packer brands at the turn of the century. [More Fruit Crate Labels]
